Since 1934, Padmore & Barnes has been recognized in the shoemaking industry for its quality and elegant shoes. At its peak, the company produced 25,000 pairs weekly, exported around the world from its factory in Kilkenny, where more than 500 employees worked, plus hundreds more part-time. From 1964 to 1987, it was under the ownership of C&J Clarks, notably manufacturing the famous WALLABEE®. Independent since 1987, Padmore & Barnes continues to produce quality shoes, exported to many countries. Its commitment to quality has ensured more than 80 years of international success.
