Nudie Jeans was created with the idea of doing the opposite of what was popular in the denim industry at the time. The brand moved towards raw, untreated denim, which was not sought after by the public at the time. Nudie Jeans' environmental philosophy was present from the outset, with the use of organic cotton in their products. This use of sustainable materials has continued to grow over the years, and since 2012 all the brand's jeans have been made from 100% organic cotton. The creation of an all-organic denim brand was driven by a conviction and determination to do things differently.
